I’ve got Cantata’Tronic by Snake Skin.
I wasn’t sure what I would hear; the first album of this side-project of Lacrimosa had made me squirm.
I'm a bit disappointed, because Tilo's voice in this album reminds more of hissing and whispering. The creepy and trembling music would better match his clear steel-like voice. Also Snake Skin music is purely electronic, a disco type, a bit boring whilst Lacrimosa music is heavenly.
But one of my dreams has come true; I often dreamed to hear Tilo singing with another woman. His present band partner, Anne Nurmi, is not worth of him. She is not bad as a back vocalist, maybe a good keyboardist but the songs composed and performed by her are poor.
I always thought that Tilo’s rich vocal and fantastic music deserved equality. I had thought, Sandra Schleret might have become such a woman; but hearing Kerstin Doelle I loved her voice at once. And she is beautiful, whilst Anne reminds me of a crow in her stage attire.
She scarcely will be his constant partner and it’s a pity. Tilo and Kerstin’s singing entwined with gorgeous music would create a perfect duet.
